Childbirth, parental rights, and the US Healthcare system...is it going down?

i dont get where people come up with all this. my dr is all for my decision to have a natural water birth in the hospital where i feel safest delivering. real mid wives that are actually certafied also are not against drugs they just want whats best for the mom. but legally they cant force you to do anything if your stable to make your own decision, if not it goes to the husband or they do whats best. they wont let you risk the life of you or the baby. if they can they save both and do whats best for both. but doctors let you make the call and they work with you to help decide whats best for you. not everyone is healthy enough for an un medicated birth. I do agree alot of drs do over step and most i question if they are even real dr.s but people can choose and if they choose to stay thats kind of their fault.
