How can I suppress my Foreign accent to replace it with the Standard American accent?

Hello, I am twenty years old, I speak fluently speak French and Creole. I can pronounce most english words with 100% intelligibility but they most of them are heavily influenced by my french or creole. I know that an accent is a beautiful thing.. but I am kinda tired of those: "where are you from?" I would love to speak English with the standard american accent.. Is that goal achievable for a 20 years old? if the answer is positive, How can I suppress my foreign accent, when I am speaking english so I can replace it with the american one. Thank You
