Questions about Bissell Quicksteamer Plus? Or any carpet steamer, for that matter?

It won't hurt it, the "steam" is just warm water, like you would use with a mop and bucket. I use my carpet cleaner on lino to save the step of vacuuming first. I also use it on my tile floor's grout.
