How do I know if my parakeet is ready for training? I want to teach him a few tricks. Please Help!!?

Hello, I have a pet parakeet and I have had him for about a week now. I have him in a large cage with another parakeet. When I put my hand in the cage he's good and doesn't move. I put my finger near him and he hops onto my hand, no fuss. And when I take him out I reward him with some millet. His favorite. Now I want to teach him some cool tricks like how to give kisses and how to give me his hand. Do you think he's ready? And anyone have some good site's on how to train a parakeet? Thanks so much! =)
