How do I play online with my DSi?

I have set up a connection on my DSi through my wireless router a Siemens SE 572, and the connection seems to be working well, I can connect to the Nintendo DSi Shop and I can use the DSi Web Browser just fine, but when it comes to connecting my game to WFC it says connection failed or no connection found, Please help me
