What would YOU do if you were in my shoes..ladies and gents.?

This has never happened to me before, so I am at a loss. The woman I love with my entire heart and soul broke up with me after 7 years of ups and downs. I should have put a ring on her finger long ago, but thats beside the point. The point is, she slept with some jack-*** from her school who came home from Iraq to find his wife cheating on him. Huh? Two vulnerable hearts...blah blah blah. I never has physically cheated on her, although she found a couple e-mails to an old girlfriend that reall HURT her... Still, words versus sticks and stones. Not only can I let it slide and call it even, I can actually accept it as part of my accession to a whole new level in our relationship. Again, we WERE not married, we were "broke up" but I still can't help feeling like she cheated on my ***. We have two beautiful children, and it would be my preference to work it out and stay together, cause as of now, my persuasion is working to my favor. and it's ever so subtle. Am I a chump Fool whos too pathetic or could I be doing the right thing. My heart is pretty biased right about now.
