Overnight staying contact and representing yourself at Court...please help!?

as a court clerk for many years, l hate to see money go to lawyers, but l am afraid when dealing with court procedures, other solicitors, Judges and Registrars, it is best to have a solicitor represent you. The Judge gets the rats having to explain the relevant law to a layman and everyone else gets the rats at being delayed!! The Court in general would look on your friend more favourably if he was represented......
