Is there more to the concept of contentment than merely learning to live with less?

As for me and my house we walk with god and are content. We don't have a lot of things and the only one we have to answer to is our father in heaven, Life is too short to be miserable, or to make anyone else life miserable. To be content in this life you need your maker, and be able to walk in his graces. Besides you can't take it with you, So why worry about the little things, take in the bigger picture.
