Gallstones..Should I go back to the hospital?

I went to the hospital late Wednesday night with horrible stomach pain. After being there for hours I was diagnosed with gallstones and sent home with instructions to set up a surgical consult and some meds. It is now 4 days later and I am still in indescribable pain. I cannot eat..haven't eating since Wednesday night. I am throwing up what little I do drink. My surgical consult isnt until friday and i dont think i can take this much longer. I am afraid to go back to the hospital because i think they are just going to send me home with the same instructions. Has anybody been through this before? Just looking for some opinions. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
